How does MosaicGT help me develop the Golden Thread?

MosaicGT has been build from the ground up to provide a simple but effective framework to help all Accountable Persons develop a useful and collaborative, digitised, safety information system.

There are many reasons for changes to be made to elements of a building’s design during its construction. The problem comes when these changes – and the reason for them – are not properly recorded and approved.

The building owner can be left with gaps in the information about their asset which will make maintenance and replacement more challenging. And, as the Grenfell Tower fire illustrated, changes that adversely affect the structural or fire safety of a building can be catastrophic.

MosaicGT provides a framework for each Gateway, with Documents to Upload and Completion statistics to guide you, and Accountable Person roles for you to fill with your collaborators.

Each Gateway is distinct in the Required Documents to fulfil the Gateway's requirements;

You cannot proceed to the next Gateway until you have fulfilled the required elements for the previous Gateway

If your building was already constructed prior to November 2023, you can start from Gateway 3 by declaring the building "Already built" during the setup stage of adding your building to MosaicGT
